EMIS and Planet Partner to Enhance Geospatial Analytics Through Geovio Platform

TRNAVA, SLOVAKIA - April 16, 2025 - EMIS s.r.o., a leading geospatial intelligence company founded in 1997 in Trnava, Slovakia (EU), and Planet Labs PBC (NYSE: PL), a leading provider of daily data and insights about Earth, today announced a partnership to integrate Planet data into EMIS's Geovio platform, enhancing geospatial monitoring and analysis capabilities across the EMEA region.

With over 20 years of industry experience, EMIS s.r.o. has established itself as a trusted partner for government institutions, including the Ministry of Transport, The National Road Administration Agency, and Ministry of Agriculture of the Slovak Republic. The company's innovation in spatial data collection optimization has been recognized through European Union funding for research and development initiatives. At the same time the company has served commercial organizations in the area of agriculture, utilities, infrastructure and others.

With PlanetScope data, Geovio is empowering organizations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa to monitor and analyze infrastructure and agricultural fields with unprecedented frequency and detail. This integration enables users to track changes (for instance: bridge deformation) and to optimize resource allocation and implement data-driven decisions (for instance: targeted irrigation) through Geovio's advanced image analysis capabilities. "

"This partnership with Planet represents a significant advancement in our ability serve organizations monitoring infrastructure and agriculture across the EMEA region," said PhD Yury Vlasov, COO at EMIS s.r.o. "By integrating PlanetScope daily imagery with Geovio's analysis tools, professionals across various industries will access our suite of tools to make informed decisions based on up-to-date data."

Planet owns and operates the largest fleet of Earth observation satellites in history, with hundreds of satellites currently in orbit. The company collects an image of every land-based location on Earth on a near-daily basis, generating an unprecedented dataset. Organizations can leverage these datasets to monitor environmental changes, detect patterns, and optimize resource management across multiple sectors including agriculture, infrastructure, urban planning, and disaster response.

Through this partnership, Geovio users will be able to seamlessly access PlanetScope data through the platform's intuitive interface. The integration allows users to combine Planet high-frequency satellite data with other data sources supported by Geovio, including drone imagery, multispectral, thermal data and SAR, creating a comprehensive view for analysis across multiple applications. Existing and new Geovio customers can immediately access Planet data through the platform, with no additional technical integration required.
