Funding boost to develop £4bn Bristol underground network

In his second to last address the Bristol city mayor has pledged an extra £15M to develop proposals towards building a £4bn underground and overground network in the city.

Mayor Marvin Rees announced the council commitment in his final State of the City address before power moves to a committee system and the role of mayor is dispensed with.
