Geotechnical analysis could have prevented Danish waste facility landslide

A failure at the Nordic Waste facility in Ølst, Jutland, late last year, which was caused by loose waste material being dumped on an impermeable clay pit slope, combined with wet weather, could have been avoided through proper geotechnical analysis, experts have said.
