HS2 boss promises procurement shake-up for northern phases

The chief executive of HS2 Ltd has promised a shake-up when it comes to procuring contracts for the northern phases of the project.
Speaking at the Rail Industry Association’s annual conference, HS2 Ltd chief executive Mark Thurston said that he was hopeful of streamlining the procurement process for upcoming contracts.
