Leadership change at Bauer Technologies

John Theos and Paul Doyle have been appointed as managing directors of leading geotechnical contractor Bauer Technologies.

The company notes that the appointments provide continuity and underline the business growth plans for Bauer’s UK operation.

John Theos joins Bauer Technologies from Bauer Spezialtiefbau GmbH, where, since 2016, he was responsible for the Americas in his remit as regional director.

Paul Doyle joined Bauer Technologies in 2016, as project director, and was later promoted to operations director in 2018. Between them, John and Paul have a collective experience of more than 55 years in the piling and geotechnical sector.

Michael Jones has just completed his second period as Managing Director of Bauer Technologies, after originally opening and running the company between 2007 – 2012. He will become the new international major projects director for Bauer Group.

Speaking of the management change, John Theos said: “I’m delighted to be joining Bauer Technologies, returning to the UK, to reengage with the piling geotechnical industry and expand its  reach”.

Paul Doyle commented: “This is an exciting time for Bauer Technologies, with the appointment of John and I devised to compound and further strengthen the strong market position that Bauer Technologies already occupies, as one of the most exciting and dynamic specialist geotechnical contractors in the UK.

Bauer Technologies’ outgoing managing director Michael Jones, who has just completed his second period as managing director of Bauer Technologies, having originally opened and run the company between 2007 and 2012, said: “Both John and Paul have a wealth of experience within BAUER and are therefore uniquely placed to leverage the synergies between BAUER subsidiaries and the parent company.
